Basically, in my opinion, Renata works great with both crit and lethality Xayah and although she might not be an aggressive support in the same way a Pyke or Nautilus is, she can be pretty oppressive, allowing you to play aggressively or helping you when you gotta stay passive, and her peel is absolutely amazing if the Renata plays well.Īfter casting an ability, Xayah's next 3 basic attacks strike all enemies along their path, dealing 100% damage to her main target and 30 / 40 / 50% pass-through damage to other enemies (at levels 1 / 7 / 13. In lane Renata has a relatively short range poke on her E, which happens to match your poor harassment without Q. Her W paired with yours creates really dangerous trades and quick feather setup, and also makes you more hard to kill than you already are.
Plus, much like yourself, Renata has really strong disengage tools. Her R allows you to easily use your Q+R+E combo on an entire team. Her Q can either pull the enemy into your feathers or out, hence why you need some practice and coordination with her.
Renata has CC to pick off targets with Xayah.
Renata might actually be the best enchanter support for Xayah in all honesty, but you do need some practice to make it work.
